The setup of my recently completed Dwarven Forge cave tiles needed some WarGods minis to show off how cool they are. This prompted a series of pictures telling the story of four adventurers in the Cave of Aphu-Anhuti
The Scorpion Mistress goes for the objective as her companions turn to face the oncoming baboons of Cankutarut the Devious.
Optherut, the Tethru, Nephthys, the Asar, and Kopshi, the other Asar, prepare for the baboons to charge. The Scorpion Mistress gathers enough of the rare mushrooms to make the party's trip worthwhile. She also tastes one and gets a boost of her hekau. When she returns to the group she casts the Land's Favor on them all so they can rush past the baboons before they strike.
The baboon troupe catches up to the party and desperate melee breaks out scattering the party.
Kopshi and the Scorpion Mistress fight off the baboons blocking their way.
Nephthys leads the way to the cavern entrance taking on two of the savage baboons with her place. Optherut protects Nephthys' back.
The cavern entrance is within view but the battle rages on. Will our heroes escape to continue their adventures?
